Which is Better: Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Engineering?

I was in the University Counsellor's office one day and a guy was trying to change his department from Agricultural Engineering to Mechanical Engineering. The University Counsellor asked him what the difference is, then he gave some stories. To me, I feel engineering is engineering, whether Agricultural or Marine. Guys what is your take on this?
